Camp Memories

memories2

The first six pictures go back to 1958 when two friends invited me to Glacial Trails for an overnight visit.  Max Yerxa’s Troop 32 was in camp and we visited and had dinner .  That night we attended the O/A Campfire  and were invited to attend.  This was the begining of 50 years of service and a life long love for the camp.

The lower panoramic picture shows the firing of the camp cannon. At the evening flag ceremony.  A much later picture.

On a wonderful camping evening at Glacial Trails. The staff and campers were visited by a very talented  Vaudeville personality.  A friend of who I don’t remember but she agreed to perform on the GTSR STAGE created for her performance.  The fond memory left to us was of ” Litte Suzy” who danced and sang for us and  shared moments from her performing days in Vaudeville.  A memory I have to this day. A shared memory to good to forget.
